Hello, my name is Holly Rogers. I’m a Wife, Mom, Grandma and Yogi. My passion for yoga can be traced back to my days as an infant laying on my back, feet in the air, I was a happy baby. I’ve been on this path from the moment I could bite my own toenails (YUCK) to the day I held my first handstand. The reason? I love movement, mindfulness and memories. My yoga teacher training has been a great benefit in deepening my own personal practice. I’m excited to share what I love with others. My hope is to make an impact in the quality of people’s lives with my small contribution.
Outside of yoga, oh wait yoga is life! When I’m not doing asana/postures of animals and other gurus, you can find me playing with my grandbabies, quilting, hiking, skiing and engaging in stimulating conversations. I live the sweaty life, and will at some point share my love of yoga with you.
So what’s in a name? Why Holly Llama? The name was given to me by a bunch of teenagers when my children were in high school. Now while I don’t profess to have a likeness to the Dalai Lama, the name with its play on words had a nice ring to it. I also found it quite complimentary. Back in those days I was referred to as “The Holly Llama,” probably due to all the free lunches and free advice I gave them.
Welcome to my Blog, I look forward to connecting with you!
